Overall I *really* like the picture, the light is done really well, as well as the expressions. But there are some things "bothering" (...

DIY Digital Art Sketchbook
Hi all, here's a little project I've been working on for a while. It's a tiny computer which can be used as a sketchbook, retro gaming console, or just as a handy paper weight after it inevitably sets on fire and deletes everything you've ever valued. I've been wanting to make something like this ever since seeing Akira's awesome DMG-Gamboy several years ago and while its not finished yet, I feel like I've at least got it to a usable prototype state now.

Looks a little too much like a bomb from the back to be airport safe.
The counting down battery indicator doesn't help things.

Wacom Tablet Left-Click Delay Problems - Windows 7
I am using Windows 7 64-bit. But this would probably also apply to 32-bit users. My tablet is a Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch. But, again, this would probably apply to all other Pen Tablet products, even those not made by Wacom.
I've had issues with delays when clicking with my pen. Whenever I left-click anywhere on the screen with the tip of the pen and trying to drag, there was always a half-second delay before the pen performs the correct action. This was especially annoying when trying to paint in Photoshop or sculpting a 3d model in Mudbox or just performing any click-and-drag action in general.
I have asked about this issue sometime ago. Wacom suggested minimizing the double-click distance in the Pen Tablet settings. But most of the solutions I found on the internet, including those from Wacom, involved turning off the Tablet PC Input Service, only to cause further complications such as the service restarting upon reboot of the computer even though the service is labeled "stopped" i

Well... You can see how much he (read: "I") got done in all this time - I blame school :P
Between doing school stuff up to 60 hours a week and starting to learn program (actually a while ago now). I had (nearly) no time doing anything art related. Right now I have several sketches thrown together in 5 - 10 minutes just to remember the idea so I can draw it later on - which didn't happen xD. So at least for the remaining 2 1/2 years I'll be at that school I don't think much art related will come together. What I WILL (try to) do is making some pixel art for a big programming project of mine (which has been hogging nearly all my free time since about a year and will most likely continue to do so). If it will ever be finished it should be a Game Helper for Pen and Paper (mostly for the GM, but should be helpful for the players as well) and I will need LOTS of art. It'll start with the design of the GUI (how are things lay out, how should the general art style be, etc...) - which I mostly got ready as for now (though it can change of course) and go on with character art and, if I'm REALLY bored, maybe art for items as well (but it will most likely only include groups of items, since there are so effing many of them)
